Debra “Debbie” J. Avon, 67, passed away on June 30, 2021 at her home in Des Moines, Iowa.
Debbie was born June 21, 1954 in Oskaloosa, Iowa to Mary and Carl Bonnett. She graduated Twin Cedars High School in 1972. After high school Debbie held many manufacturing positions. She married George Avon Jr. December 31, 1977. She enjoyed spending time with her family, planting flowers and plants, her dog Spike, and drinking coffee.
Debbie will be deeply missed by her two daughters, Stacey Avon and Megan Avon both of Des Moines, Iowa; her sisters, Rhonda Bonnett and Marlene Wells both of Lovilia, Iowa; brother, Wes Bonnett of Bussey, Iowa; grandson, Jaden Walker of Des Moines, Iowa; many family members and friends she gained along the way.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George Avon Jr; daughter, Jennifer Avon; parents, Mary and Carl Bonnett; sister, Brenda Bonnett; brothers, Boyd Bonnett and Junior Bonnett.
A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.

Oh how I loved this lady!!! We go back many years to our childhood! We had the same aunt and uncle but we weren't related. I loved her like a sister though. We were both in Iowa City together!! I love her whole family! Marlene, Wes and Rhonda, you are all in my thoughts and prayers!
