Service Details

Judy Kroblin, 77, returned to her heavenly home on June 26, 2021. Her final days were spent surrounded by family and loved ones.

Judy was born February 14, 1944 in Des Moines, Iowa. She was the devoted wife of Jeff Kroblin, with whom she shared 44 years of marriage.

Judy was a person of faith and was a member of the Lenexa Baptist Church for many years before moving to Des Moines, Iowa. She was the church secretary and a member of the council for 12 years. She went on mission trips, assisted with funeral lunches, backpack programs for underprivileged children, budget counseling and enjoyed conducting bible studies and Sunday school classes. When Judy moved to Des Moines, she attended Grace Church.

Judy and Jeff traveled to Israel for 10 days, where they were both re-baptized in the Jordan River, where Jesus was baptized. Judy loved Jesus and wanted all her children and grandchildren to trust in Jesus too.

Judy loved attending church, quilting, vacationing to Branson, Missouri, and snuggling “mama’s baby girl” Sadie Ann.

She will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Jeff Kroblin; her four children and their families: Sherri (Steve) Rothmeyer, Shelley Peterson, Tom King, Alan King and her ten grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Madge Breese and Harold Shepherd; her in-laws, Joe and Marilyn Kroblin; her sister, Jackie McCuen; her brother, Sid Shepherd; and her grandsons, Andrew Burrell and Bennett King.
