Shirley J. Henderson, 85, passed away Saturday, June 26, 2021.

Shirley was born March 8, 1936 in Centerville, Iowa to Woodrow and Nina (Adair) Henderson. She was an Elvis Presley fan and loved her little dog, Baby.

She is survived by her sons, Clifton “Skipper” Henderson, William “Bill” Henderson, Ronald Henderson (Dawn); four grandchildren, Jeremiah Evans, Shawn Henderson, Stephanie Henderson, Brooke Reynolds; great-grandchildren, Micah Reynolds, Roman Reynolds, Taylor Estes, Skylar Evans; and three sisters.

Shirley was preceded in death by her parents, Woodrow and Nina Henderson; one sister; and her husband, Clifton Henderson.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Friday, July 2, 2021 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, Des Moines. Graveside service will begin at 2:30 p.m. at Elm Grove Cemetery, Des Moines.
