Kathren “Kathy” Cramer, 81, passed away Wednesday, June 23, 2021.
Kathy was born February 1, 1940 in Hedrick, Iowa to Everett and Ethel (Deuser) Ward. She enjoyed music, dancing, tending her garden, and cooking for her neighbors.
She is survived by her sons, John and Arnold Thrasher; grandchildren, Skylynn (Drew) Powell, Gawny Jean Thrasher, Steven Thrasher, and Dustin Thrasher; three great-grandchildren; siblings, Ruth Smith, Karen (Robert) Petefish, Rex (Barb) Ward, and Reta (Loyde) Brown; and other extended family and friends.
Kathy was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel; grandson, Arnold Jonathan Thrasher; great-grandson, Jack Thrasher; and her brother, Clifford Clair Ward.
Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m., followed by funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 30, 2021, at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, Des Moines. Burial will take place at Iowa Veterans Cemetery, Adel, Iowa after the service.

WE LOVED KATHY , MIKE SAID SHE WAS A N OUTSTANDING LADY HE THOUGHT A LOT OF AND LOVED , AND ALSO LOVED HER BAKED PORK CHOPS , POATOES AND CHEESE CASSAROLE . SHE WAS A PEACH . REST IN PEACE KATHY , BE SURE TO GIVE DAN A HUG ,
