Carl Lock

Carl Lock, 87, passed away on June 21, 2021 at his home.

Carl was born April 4, 1934 in Des Moines, Iowa to his parents Carl and Mildred (Bettis) Lock. He grew up in Des Moines and graduated from Carlisle High School. Carl served in the United States Army and worked in the HVAC service industry for most of his life.

He is survived by his loving wife Delores; daughters, Connie Probasco, Toni Lock, Christine Bender, and Tiffany (Matt) Geers; ten grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Carmen Lock, and sons-in-law, Bob Probasco and Jim Bender.

Memorial contributions can be directed to West Des Moines Elks Lodge and St. Mark Lutheran Church in loving memory of Carl Lock.

Family will greet friends from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, June 28, 2021 at St. Mark Lutheran Church, 1105 Grand Ave, West Des Moines, IA 50265. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, June 29, 2021 also at the church beginning at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Resthaven Cemetery. Following the graveside please join the family for dessert and fellowship back at the church.
