William "Bill" Jackson

William “Bill” Jackson, 88, passed away at home on June 21, 2021.

Bill was born March 9, 1933 in Des Arc, Arkansas to John and Lucille (Davis) Jackson. He enlisted in the Navy and served in the Korean War. He retired from the Navy after 23 years of dedicated service, and went on to work at Methodist Hospital and DuPont.

He is survived by his son, William Jackson, Jr.; daughters, Rebecca Jackson and Debra Myrick; grandchildren, Brandi Jackson and Brian Jackson; and great-grandchildren, Lily Mannebach, Charlie Renee Jackson and Paislie Jackson.

Bill was preceded in death by his wife, Norma “Jean”; daughter, Jeanette Reeser; and great-grandson, Toby Jackson.

Bill will be laid to rest with military honors at 2:00 pm on Saturday, June 26, 2021 at Elm Grove Cemetery.
