Joshua Blake Gorla, 42, passed away on June 10, 2021 at home.
Joshua was born September 17, 1978 in Des Moines, Iowa to Robert and Mikan (Johnson) Gorla.
Joshua is survived by his brother, Justin (Danielle) Gorla; nieces and nephews, Zach, Hailey, Dakota and Mayson; aunts, Cathy Lindsey and Pam Falkstrom; cousins, Mitch Falkstrom, Matt Falkstrom, and Mike Falkstrom; cousin/best friend, Ryan Lindsey; and numerous other friends and family members.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Jason Gorla; and parents.

So sorry to hear of his passing. Grew up with Josh for many years and he had such a sweet soul. May he rest in peace. Condolences to our family and his friends.

He will be terribly missed..a talented craftsman.. could build about anything and was always willing to help others.. would give the shirt off his back.. even when he was down on his luck... I will never forget how much he helped me after my knee surgery and loved and cared for me and my critters.. truly a heartbreaking loss.. prayers for his family in this difficult time.

So incredibly sorry to hear of Josh's passing. A good friend of my husband Braden Willis for many years, Josh helped us remodel our home and his contributions were exceptional. My thoughts are with you during this difficult time.
