Margaret Sue Ashley, 83, passed away on May 31, 2021, at Granger Nursing and Rehab. She was born in Mount Ayr, Iowa, on October 22, 1937, the daughter of James and Mae Home.
Margaret loved people watching and visiting with friends. In her younger years, she enjoyed sewing.
Margaret is survived by her daughters, Connie (James) Adreon; Donna Sue Ashley; grandson, Charles Ashley. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Glen; sons, Danny Ashley and Timothy Leffler; sister, Elizabeth Green; and brother-in-law, Ceril Green.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Monday, June 7, 2021, at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Ave., Des Moines. Burial will be a Lincoln cemetery in Polk City.

So sorry for your loss. Remember Sue from coming to the Polk City senior center and the north side one. I was in charge and her and I use to sit and talk and laugh. Bless her.
