Dear Marilyn, I hope after all these years that have gone by, you would remember me as the nurse who took care of Pete years ago when he had his craniotomy at Mercy Hospital. While there, we decorated his room and took pictures, and you called me so I could show those pictures to him to help him understand what happened to him. I so loved you both, and was so touched by your love and commitment to each other . I was sorry we lost touch with one another after all these years. I am also so very sorry to learn of the passing of your son, Steven. Please know you and dear Pete are in my heart and mind forever. Pete was a good man, and he is in Glory, God's blessings on you, dear Marilyn at this very difficult time. My heartfelt sympathy, Terri Fazio

Marilyn, I hope you remember me. You lived across the street from my mother-in-law, Mary Rush. You and Pete were so good and thoughtful about seeing that she got to mass on Sunday. Always was so nice to see and talk with you whenever I saw you. When my husband, Jim and I would walk at the mall it was always nice to see Pete stepping off his paces with his rosary in his hand and a big smile and hello. I know he will be missed.
