Beth A. Crawford

Beth Ann Crawford, 71, passed away on June 2, 2021 at home. She was born in Des Moines, Iowa on November 18, 1949 to Marvin and Jeanne Vermie

Beth worked for the City of Des Moines throughout her entire life, mainly working for the Des Moines Police Department. You could always catch her with a fresh cup of coffee in her hand and a smile on her face. She enjoyed sewing and adored mini Chihuahuas. Above all else, she treasured time spent with her family.

Beth is survived by her son, Reese (Katie) Turner; daughter Katie (Kent) Courter; grandchildren, Kris and Olivia; brother, John (Cynthia) Vermie; one niece, one nephew and her step children and their families. She is preceded in death by her husband, Ron Crawford and her parents.

A memorial visitation will be held on Thursday, June 10, 2021 from 5:00 -7:00 p.m., at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Ave., Des Moines, Iowa.

Memorial contributions may be directed to family to be designated to numerous charities in loving memory of Beth.
