Hayden Lynn Zubulake

Hayden Lynn Zubulake, was called home peacefully on May 27, 2021 after her courageous fight with Lissencephaly. She was born to Richard Zubulake and Jenna Dunkin on January 25, 2010 in Des Moines, Iowa.

Hayden was truly a lover and could brighten up anyone’s day. She had a beautiful and radiant smile that had the ability to light up an entire room. She enjoyed movies like Star Wars and Cars, and loved listening to music. Hayden’s favorite pastimes were cuddling with her dad and singing songs with her mom. Her “pucker face” and belly laugh will be remembered forever.

Hayden is survived by her parents Richard Zubulake and Jenna Dunkin; grandparents April and Steve Lowe, Harry Zubulake, and Sue and John Malloy; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, and Violet (her singing puppy.) A special thank you to Hayden’s favorite nurse, Debra Ross of Unity Point Home Care.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, June 4, 2021 at Hamilton’s on Westown Parkway, 3601 Westown Parkway, West Des Moines, Iowa 50266. Funeral service will be held the next day Saturday June 5, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. Burial will take place at Swan Cemetery in Marion County, Iowa following service.
