Aaron Tomaszek

Aaron Tomaszek passed away on May 25, 2021, after a lengthy illness. He was born in Des Moines on August 11, 1975, the son of Allen and Margaret Tomaszek.

Aaron graduated from East High School in 1993 where he was active in choir. He worked for Best Buy for 23 years, working in sales and inventory loss prevention.

Aaron was an avid fan of the Kansas City Chiefs. He enjoyed playing pool, watching movies, and spending time with loved ones, especially his nieces and nephews.

Aaron is survived by his mother, Margaret; brother, Allen (Mary) Tomaszek II; sisters, Angela (Scott) Randolph, Alana (Lonnie) Hamby, and Candice Rosalez. He is also survived by his numerous nieces and nephews as well as other loving family and countless friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Allen; paternal grandparents, Joseph and Mary Tomaszek; and his maternal grandparents, Willis and Doris Parry.

A funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 29, 2021, at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Ave. in Des Moines with visitation beginning at 1:00 p.m.

In loving memory of Aaron, memorial contributions may be directed to the family for a future designation.
