Pamela Hillabolt, 74, passed away May 21, 2021 at her home in Des Moines surrounded by her family.
Pam was born March 11, 1947 in Des Moines, Iowa to Marie (Donahue) and George R. Stokesbary, Jr.
Pam lived in Des Moines most of her life, graduating from St. Joseph’s Academy. In later years she wintered in Sun Lakes, Arizona. Pam was a realtor in both Iowa and Arizona. She enjoyed dancing throughout her life, most recently she was a 10-year member of the Phoenix Suns “Golden Grannies” dance team. Pam also enjoyed attending her grandchildren’s activities.
Pam is survived by her big brother, Tom (Cathi) Stokesbary; former husband, Gary; their children, Scott (Barb) Martin, Wendi (Jay) Hart, Ryan (Amber) Hillabolt, Keri (Eric) Kenoyer; grandchildren, Brad, Samantha, Sara, Dylan, Gaige, Tyler, Ethan, Brayden, Kaleb, Logan, and Hannah; and 15 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and sister, Linda Ashing.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 8, 2021 starting at 11:00 a.m. with a celebration of life service to begin at 2:00 p.m. at Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home, 5400 SW 9th Street.

Tom - I'm so sorry to see the notice for your sister. I got to know Pam in the 80's when we would run into each other at Lorri's bar on Hickman. She was a lot of fun and we have some good times. My thoughts go out to you.

My sincere condolences to your family. Pam was a special soul, full of light, laughter, and love! She was so proud of her children and grandchildren. I loved hearing stories of her time in Iowa. She will be missed. Im grateful and blessed to have known her.
