Mary Margaret Kessler

Mary Kessler, 91, died Wednesday, September 30, 2009 at Union Park Care Center.
Mary was born April 5, 1918 in Harrisonville, Missouri to Clarence and Lucy Newman.
Mary enjoyed baking, fishing and spending time with her family. She was a member of the Elkhart Christian Church.
Mary is survived by; son, David Kessler, Sr.; grandchildren, Pam Thoren, David Kessler, Jr., Mary (Ric) Gay, Jeanie Stapes and Kevin (Tina) Kessler; 16 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren with 2 more on the way.
Mary is preceded in death by her husband, George; her parents and her 3 sisters.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 5, 2009 at 1:00 PM at the Elkhart Christian Church; 124 S. Washington Ave., Elkhart IA., a luncheon will be held prior to the service from 11:30-12:30. Visitation will occur Sunday, October 4, 2009 from 4-7 PM at Hamilton's Altoona Funeral Home, 105 4th St. SW, Altoona.
