Mikan Gorla

Mikan Gorla, 66, passed away May 15, 2021, at Bright Kavanaugh House.

Mikan was born February 7, 1955, in Rockford, Illinois to Phil and Rosanna Johnson. She was a dedicated mother, grandmother and aunt. Mikan loved spending time with her family.

Mikan is survived by her sons, Justin (Danielle) Gorla and Josh Gorla; grandchildren, Zach, Hailey, Dakota and Mayson; sister, Pam Falkstrom; life partner, Bruce Barach; and a host of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Jason Gorla; sister, Melissa Harvey; and her brother, Phillip Dale Johnson.

Per her request, her body has been cremated and no services are planned.
