Gregory Ickowitz, age 52, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, May 15, 2021.
Greg was born April 25, 1969 in Des Moines, Iowa to David and Roberta Ickowitz. He worked as a truck driver and was very dedicated to his job.
He enjoyed playing and watching sports for most of his life. If he wasn’t playing sports he was playing his drums. Sports and music was his passion. He was always the loudest in the room with the most stories.
He is survived by his children, Demerey (Chris), Ian, and Rebecca; his mother, Roberta; his siblings, Joshua (Jamie), Brian (Kristi), Katie, and Cassie (Nick); nieces and nephews, Sydney, Brooklyn, Sami, Bella, Nora, Maddox, and Oscar; and lots of cousins and other loving extended family and many close friends.
Greg was preceded in death by his father, David; his brother, Jacob; and his nieces, Josephine, Olivia, and Everly.
Cremation will occur and there will be no services held at this time.

Roberta and family we have known you since 1975 and had many great years growing up together. The basements of both your house and ours hosted a multitude of friends as we grew up! Grateful for the memories and Berta you have been a great friend to my mom Sue! Love u all!

Icky played softball on our team the last year and a half (coca cola) on Sunday nights. On behalf of all my teammates we are so sorry for your loss. He sure could play ball.we know the Phillies was his team. Roberta I had no idea he was your son. I would have told him some stories about his dad. Again so sorry. Love Sonny and Michele Burton
