Everett (Edward) Moses Lamont, Sr.

Everett (Edward) Moses Lamont, Sr., 91, was born October 9, 1929 in Wakpala, South Dakota to Edward and Laura (LeBeau) Lamont. He and passed away Monday, May 3, 2021 after a brief illness.

Everett was a positive, happy-spirited man. He loved his family and gratefully cherished life. He worked all his life, up to the age of 90. He loved telling old stories of his childhood and was proud of his ancestry. He served in Japan. Everett loved going to the bingo hall.

He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Marie Lamont; children, Connie M. Lamont, Montgomery C. Lamont, Matthew D. Lamont, Josephine H. Lamont, Theresa Brownwolf-Powers, and Laura Spirittrack; ten grandchildren; and many more great-grandchildren.

Everett was preceded in death by his oldest son, Everett F. Lamont, Jr.; his brother, Donald L. Lamont; and his parents, Edward and Laura Lamont.

Cremation will occur and there will be no services held at this time.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be directed to the family in loving memory of Everett.
