Ellen Olson, age 77, passed away on Thursday, April 22, 2021, at Lutheran Hospital. Ellen was born the daughter of Walter and Margaret (Krohn) Watson on December 23, 1943, in Des Moines, Iowa. She enjoyed her job working at Sec Taylor Stadium.

She is lovingly survived by her sons, Eric Olson and Carl Olson; daughter, Ellen Warner; sister, Maggie Ferrell; and her fur baby, Bandit.

Ellen was preceded in death by her parents; beloved husband, Carl Olson; and sister, Karen Moore.

Graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, May 3, 2021, at Glendale Cemetery in Des Moines.

Memorial contributions may be directed to the Animal Rescue League in memory of Ellen.
