I had the pleasure of meeting Betty and even though I knew her for a short time I learned what an amazing person she was.

What an inspiration - that was Betty Hutchinson. Whenever I was in Iowa to visit my parents or other family - I would try to include a visit to Marquisville UMC. I would look for and usually find Betty there with her awesome smile and a big hug.So glad that I could watch this service today from home. Blessings to the family.

As a boy one wonders what kind of reception you will receive when visiting the home of a good friend. Turns out it was a pleasant experience and Betty had a lot to do with that. Playful dialogue was encouraged. Thank you Betty. Peace to Ron and the girls. Ill watch the service on line as I cant be there.

SO many wonderful memories of Betty, my "second mom"! She ran a very organized, clean home and always welcomed me with a cheerful greeting. I loved her ornery grin and teasing! It was obvious she was deeply loved by each of you, her children, from the excellent care she received. May you be comforted, knowing she's completely well and in the presence of her Savior!
