Charlene Mae Farris

Charlene Mae Farris, 73, died on September 27, 2009 at Mercy Hospital after a long illness. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Thursday, October 1, 2009 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, with burial at Laurel Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Charlene was born March 25, 1936 to Lloyd and Myrtle Wilcox in Unionville, MO. She graduated from Tech High School and worked at Charter Data as a mail clerk for many years. Charlene enjoyed playing bingo and cooking for her family.
Charlene is survived by her husband, Dan Farris; children, Vickie Lawton, Debra Flowers, and Billy Lowe; granddaughter, Nicole; and great-grandchildren, Jayden and Caitlyn. She was preceded in death by her parents; grandchildren, Sean and Raymond; and sisters, Alice, Marion, Alberta, Betty, and Colene.
