Kathy Justice, 69, passed away on April 10, 2021, at Cox Hospital in Springfield, MO. She was born in Chillocothe, MO, 1951, to Vernon and Esther Richards. On November 1, 1980, in Fort Dodge, IA, Kathy married Jim Justice.
Kathy loved entertaining, gardening, cooking and trying new recipes. Her most cherished moments were times spent with her children and grandchildren.
Kathy is survived by her husband, Jim; sons, David (Sandra), Daniel, and Dean (Chelsea); brother, Kevin Dessinger, Keith Richards; and sisters, Kay Pingel and Karen Richards.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m., on Tuesday, April 20, 2021, at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Ave, Des Moines. Burial will take place at Berwick Cemetery. The family will receive visitors one hour prior to service time at the funeral home.

With our tears of sorrow we would like to express our deepest sympathy to the Justice family and to the Richards family. Growing up with the Richards family was truly an experience of fun and good times. I have always felt that they were family so with this I will miss Kathy whom I considered her my sister and friend.
