Ardell H. Berg

Ardell Herman Berg, age 85, passed away Tuesday, April 6, 2021.

Ardell was born January 5, 1936 in Fosston, Minnesota to Orville and Effie (Anderson) Berg. He married Beverly (Cowles) Berg and they enjoyed 62 years of marriage. Before Beverly’s passing, they were always by each other’s side.

He will be lovingly remembered by his children, Deborah and Chester Jackson, Dale Berg, and Tammy and Bill Greenwood; eight grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild; sister, Barbara May; brothers, Dennis and Darrell (Linda) Berg; and many extended family and friends.

Ardell was preceded in death by his wife of 62 years, Beverly; brother, David Berg; and sister, Donna Berg.

A private viewing will be held for family followed by cremation. According to Ardell’s wishes there will be no formal funeral service held. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the American Cancer Society.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you Ardell and Bev, as well as your lovely family. It was a pleasure to be a neighbor of you and Bev for the past 50 years at Lake Ponderosa. We will miss you and your most willing help when we ran into many of the problems that seem to find us at a lake house. Rest In Peace!
