Tyler Henning

Tyler J. Henning, 29, passed away Thursday, April 1, 2021.

Tyler was born September 20, 1991 in Des Moines, Iowa to Roger and Kimberly Henning. He attended Roosevelt High School in Des Moines and growing up he loved skateboarding. He was a good, caring person who was always encouraging others. He loved his job at Five Guys in Ankeny. It was more than a job to Tyler; they were a second family to him. He was a jokester and was always making people laugh. He loved his family, especially hanging out with his cousins. He will be missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his mother, Kimberly Louise Henning; father, Roger Wayne Henning; brother, Joshua Alan Morton; sister, Courtney Renee Henning; girlfriend, Clarissa; grandmother, Margaret Spaulding (Gary); grandfather, James W. Spaulding (Patty); aunt, Krista Sheriff (Phil); uncle, Judsen Spaulding (Casey); cousins, Kylika, Darius, Maison, Kynlee, Marlee, Reece, Maddie, Zach, Hanah, Jef, Cam, Tesla, and Hendrix; and numerous friends.

Tyler was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Ruth and Willard Spaulding and Margaret and Arthur Quick; and his uncle, Jeff Spaulding.

Services will be held at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, Des Moines. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 7, 2021. Funeral service will begin at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, April 8, 2021, followed by a luncheon. Cremation will take place after the services.
