Kham Keo Sysombath

Kham Keo Sysombath, age 57, passed away Wednesday, March 31, 2021 at Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines.

Keo was born October 10, 1963 in Vientine, Laos to Lasone and Khampheng Sisombath. He was a refugee who sought asylum in the United States in 1985. He retired from Bridgestone/Firestone after 30 years of service as a tire inspector. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, watching action movies, and tallboys of Bud Ice.

He is survived by his children, Bobby, David, Jeffrey, and Christina Sysombath; as well as the mother of the children, Somchanh Sysombath, and his four-legged furry companions, Hazel and Zero. Keo is 5th of his 11 siblings.

Keo was preceded in death by his father, Lasone and mother, Khampheng Sisombath.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, April 10th at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Avenue, Des Moines, and will be followed by cremation.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be directed to the family in loving memory of Keo.
