Sonja Cardani

She attended West Bend Community Schools until fifth grade, when she moved to Iowa City, Iowa, and lived there with her sister and her sister’s husband until her junior year in high school, when she moved back to West Bend.
On September 25, 1987, she was united in marriage to Chris Cardani in Iowa City. They were blessed with a daughter, Logan on August 27, 1993, and a second daughter, Madison on September 11, 1995.
Rather than fancy clothes and jewels, family was the most important thing in her life. She loved big family dinners on holidays and made the best baked beans for those dinners.

She is also survived by her sister Betty Henely, brother Don Christensen Jr. (Eileen), sister Sharon Naughton (Mark), father-in-law Jack Cardani (Jo), sisters-in-law Diane Carson (Chance), Cheryl Feldman (Mike) and Karen Dage, nephews Jared Hix (Becky), Tyler Hix (Eliza), Craig Henley (Kathy) and Sean Christensen, as well as nieces Tricia Carson (Mike), Melanie Christensen, Lauren Carson, Kim and Jennifer Dage, grand nieces Madelyn Hix, Anna Carson and Lauren Henely, and grand nephews Edmund Hix, Jacob Hix, Matt Henely and Trent Henely.
