Susan Lynn Crowe

Susan Lynn Crowe, passed away on the 26th of March, 2021 at the age of 64 while at home. Susan was born on July 15, 1956, to Patricia and Stanley Yenzer.
She attended high school in Willis, Texas and nursing school at Des Moines Area Community College in Ankeny, Iowa where she received her diploma for licensed practical nursing. Susan was an accomplished licensed nurse who dedicated over 30 years of her life caring for the elderly until she retired in 2010.
In her spare time, Susan enjoyed watching Chicago Cubs baseball, Dallas Cowboys football, and Olympic sporting events. Susan also loved to cross stitch and had numerous other hobbies. Susan was married to Ray Crowe, Sr., on May 3, 2003.
Susan is survived by her husband, Ray; and her four children, Steven Wilkerson, Shawn Wilkerson, Robert Blake, Jr., and Tabatha Erickson. Susan has an older brother, Bruce Yenzer; and younger siblings, Rachelle Buley, Sandra Grisham, and Barry Yenzer.
Susan’s proudest moments were having a relationship with her granddaughters, Victoria, Faith, Kadence, Braelyn, Heather and Angela whom she loved very much. Susan also loved having a relationship with her numerous nieces and nephews and always spoke very highly of them. She was preceded in death by her mother, Patricia Wilson (Gibb) and her father, Stanley Yenzer.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, April 2, 2021, at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Ave., Des Moines. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home two hours prior to service time. Burial will take place at 12:30 p.m., Monday, April 5 at Iowa Veterans Cemetery.

I still can't believe you are gone..
You were always such an inspiration to me. All the battles you endured with your health were hard to witness and you always came out on top. Cant help but confess with a full heart that you were my hero, in your darkest hours you were so strong. I will miss you every day till i see you again.. I love you mom.
May Jesus accept me with open arms so I can be with you again..your son shawn...
