Gayle Adams

Gayle Adams, 89, passed away March 17, 2021 at Mercy Hospice in Johnston.

Gayle was born July 24, 1931 in Elkhart, Iowa to her parents, Lewis and Carol (Sipling) Albaugh.

Gayle is survived by her loving children, Ron Adams and Peggy (Robert) Ault; grandchildren, Stephanie (Ault) Reynolds and her daughter, Wrigley Reynolds, Brian (Amanda) Ault and their son, Easton Ault; sisters-in-law, Ileda (Bruce) Elder and Sharon Adams; brother-in-law, Larry Vasey; and several nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews

She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Jerry Adams; parents, Lewis and Carol (Sipling) Albaugh; siblings, Duane (Melva) Albaugh, Phyllis (Jack) Richards, and Nancy Vasey; in-laws, Charlie and Mary Adams; brother-in-law, Gerald; her special friend of 62 years, Jeanne Doughten; and several nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.

All services will be held at Elkhart Christian Church, 252 NW Washington Avenue in Elkhart. The family will greet friends on Monday, March 22, 2021 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm. A funeral service will be held Tuesday, March 23, 2021 at 2:00 pm.
