Majorie Ann Baddeloo

Marjorie Ann Baddeloo, 89, died on Saturday, March 13, 2021 at Deerfield Retirement Community. She was born on July 18, 1931 to George and Theresa Giegerich in Pittsburgh, PA. She married Martin Baddeloo nearly 70 years ago on September 21, 1951.

Marjorie grew up in Pittsburgh, PA. Marjorie and her husband Martin left Pittsburgh when Martin accepted an assignment in Mexico City. After a seven-year adventure, they were transferred back to Pittsburgh and then to Chicago. They retired to Scottsdale, AZ where they lived for the past 30 years. They enjoyed golfing, crossword puzzles, playing bridge, bowling, and hosting dinner parties - which led to a considerable collection of plates and silverware. Marjorie was also quite the golfer, getting her first Hole-In-One at the age of 83.

Marge was sweet, gentle, gracious, and always smiling. A tiny and petite woman, but with more backbone than an entire football team. Marge is one of the strongest people that has ever lived.

She is survived by her loving husband and best friend, Martin Baddeloo, Jr.; sons, Martin (Dr. Cindy) Baddeloo, III of Clive, IA and Doug (Marlene) Baddeloo of Naples, FL; 5 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Marge was preceded in death by her parents; son, David; sister, Rita Hudock; and brother, John Giegerich.

At this time, there are no services planned. Marge will be inurned near her family in Pittsburgh at a later date.
