Service Details
Betty Jean Reames passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 11, 2021 in Riverview, Florida. Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 20, 2021 at 12:00 p.m. at Hamilton’s on Westown Parkway, 3601 Westown in West Des Moines, IA with family greeting guests prior from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Resthaven Cemetery. The family requests that masks be worn.
Betty was born to Joseph and Della (Cox) Mullin on March 27, 1933 in Des Moines, IA.
She is survived by her loving children, Richard (Susan) Norris, Randall (Donna) Norris and Gayla Wilson; grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Howard Norris and William Reames; daughter, Susan Berry; her parents; and six siblings.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you during these days. We have many fond memories dating back to 1955. Most have to do with music and her beautiful voice as a soloist, in a group or choir. God's peace will comfort each one.
