Service Details

Elijah Brown-Townsend’s life was taken away far too soon at the age of 16, on March 6, 2021. He was living life fully and largely and will be missed beyond words.

Elijah was born November 3, 2004 to Edward Townsend and Latasha Capard in St. Paul, MN. He was a junior at North High School, where he was the life of the party and had MANY friends.

He was a people magnet. When Elijah was around there was an energy of fun, tenacity, and spontaneity. He was with a joke and his giant smile was overwhelming. His personality was contagious, his laughter was truly infectious. Growing up Elijah loved to play football and enjoyed all sports. He loved listening to music but above all else, he cherished time spent with all his family. Elijah was a natural born leader.

Elijah’s absence has left a hole in our family, but it bought our family together with a strength and love, that cannot be surpassed. Elijah, the Lord needed you for something GREAT!

Elijah is survived by his parents, Latasha, Daniel, and Edward Townsend.
