Jean Louise Eisenlauer

Jean Louise Eisenlauer, 79, died Monday surrounded by her family at Mercy Medical Center after suffering a cardiac arrest. Born on January 12, 1930 to George and Frances Lamb, Jean was a lifelong resident of Des Moines, attending East High School and working as a secretary for the Des Moines School District for 30 years. What she enjoyed most was being a mother and grandmother to her five grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 on Thursday, September 24, 2009 at St. Mary's of Nazareth Catholic Church in Des Moines.
Jean is survived by her three children. Son Dick (Linda) of Bettendorf, daughter Deb Martin (Dennis) of Lincoln, NE; and daughter Diane Ellis (Gary) of Norwalk. Grandchildren Rick (Abbey) and Jennifer Eisenlauer, Patrick and Katie Martin, and Emily Ellis. Her brother David (Dana Peterson) Lamb. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, George & Richard Lamb.
