Joe V. Clay

Joe V. Clay was born 82 years ago in Birmingham, AL. Joe passed away peacefully on September 19, 2009, from lung cancer.
He worked for Meredith 20 years and the Register for 26 years, where he retired. Joe enjoyed fishing, camping, dancing, working in his garden and especially loved his dogs. He will always be remembered for his patriotism and honesty.
Joe is survived by his wife of 53 years, Madeline (Chance); three daughters, Cindy Jo Gustafson (Glenn), Pam Elliott (Jimmy Chandler) and Jenny Lee Crawford (Norman); two sons, Rick and
Ron of Wisconsin; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; sister, Virginia Tucker of Birmingham, AL and many nieces and nephews.
At Joes's request, he will be cremated and no services are planned.
