Rex A. Pryor

Rex Allen Pryor, 50, died Saturday, September 19, 2009 at Mercy Hospital from congestive heart failure.
Rex was born April 17, 1959 in Des Moines. He retired as a MSGT in the USMC, 21 years of service. He continued the career as an aircraft mechanic returning to Des Moines in February of 2009 working at the Des Moines Int’l Airport.
Rex is survived by his wife, Francine; son, Allen Wayne, 28; daughter, Brandi Lee, 30; three grandchildren, Wayne, Owen and Novalyne; father, Guy; brother, Christopher; and four sisters, Penny Jo, Sherrill, Kimberly and Patricia. He was preceded in death by his mother, Linda.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, September 25, 2009 at Hamilton's Funeral Home, 605 Lyon St. with burial at 12:30 p.m. Friday at the Iowa Veterans Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
