Kathy Pontious

Kathy Dawn (Huston) Pontious passed away January 31, 2007. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, February 4, 2007 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon St. Visitation will be held two hours prior to service time on Sunday.
Kathy was born March 4, 1957 to James and Beverly Huston. She graduated from Lincoln High School. Kathy served in the U.S. Navy and loved being stationed in Guam. She collected elephants and shells. Kathy was a big kid at heart and loved being a mom and a grandma. Her grandchildren called her “Grandma Happy”. Grandma Happy was looking forward to her 4th grandchild due in September.
Kathy is survived by her children, Lisa Marie (Gustavo) Pontious and Joseph Patrick (Sara) Pontious; her parents, James and Beverly Huston; brother, Dennis James Huston; sisters, Linda Marie (J.T.) Bennett and Lorri Ann (Randy) Huston; and her beloved grandchildren, Diamond, Alexa and Drue.
Kathy joined her grandparents in heaven to watch over us.
