Marjorie Ann Cory, 85, died Saturday, September 19, 2009 at Iowa Methodist Medical Center. A burial of cremated remains will be held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, September 23, at Cory Grove Cemetery in Elkhart, Iowa.
Marjorie was born May 21, 1924 in Des Moines to Walter and Cloria (Webb) Parmenter.
Marjorie was preceded in death by her husband, and her son.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Des Moines VA Hospital.

As your son, I am saddened at the loss of my Mother whom I didn't have the chance to spend time with or have the opportunity to make memories. My memories are of my Grandfather Walter Parmenter and Grandmother I lived with until my adoption to a family in Kansas. Good-bye Mother may you rest in peace.
