Cathy Coleman

Cathy (Martin) Coleman, 48, passed away at her home Thursday, September 17, 2009.
Cathy was born March 21, 1961 to Donald and Bernice (Arrowood) Martin in Des Moines. She graduated from East High in 1979 and married Keith Coleman in 1984. Cathy's whole world was her children, they were the loves of her life. She had a kind and joyous heart and never knew a stranger.
Cathy is survived by her children, Meghan, Keith, Jr., Jameson and Nolan Coleman; mother, Bernice Martin; brothers, Donald (Billie Bell) Martin, Jr. and Ronald Martin; sisters, Melody (Alan) Widlund and Jennie (Dave) Fitch; and her precious labs, Zane and Baby. She was preceded in death by her father, Donald; and sister, Polly Ann.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, September 22, 2009 at Hamilton's Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street. Visitation will be held from 12 p.m. until service time Tuesday at the funeral home. A private family burial will take place at a later date.
