Marlene Chambers

Marlene K. Chambers, 76, passed away Thursday, September 17, 2009 at Iowa Methodist Medical Center. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, September 21, 2009 at First Church of the Open Bible, Beaver Avenue & Hickman Road, followed by burial at Glendale Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church.
Marlene was born May 5, 1933 to Fred and Violet Hartman in Sioux Valley, MN. She was a member of First Church of the Open Bible and was a wonderful homemaker. She loved her husband, children and grandchildren and will be remembered for her love of God and her Savior Jesus Christ.
Marlene is survived by her husband of 40 years, David Chambers; children, Faith Daley, Mark Hanke, and Hope (Phil) Houston; seven grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; brothers, Warren Hartman and Fred (Sheri) Hartman; sister, Kay (Larry) Hurd; and a host of other family and beloved friends.
Memorial contributions may be given to First Church of the Open Bible.
