Gladys Barker

Gladys Barker, 89, passed away Thursday, September 17, 2009 at University Park Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Gladys was born April 22, 1920 in Ira, Iowa to Obediah and Mary Barker. She worked as a seamstress for many years.
Gladys is survived by her nephews, Henry and Mark Rodgers, both of Des Moines, Bill Jones of Florence, TX, and Doug Barker of Carlisle, IA, and her niece, Faith Plumb of Des Moines. She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Fay Plumb, Flora Harris and Thelma Jones; and her brothers, Guy, Denver and Harp Barker.
A private family burial will be held at Greencastle Cemetery in Mingo.
