William Lee Romine

William Lee Romine, 56, died Thursday, September 10, 2009 of lung cancer at Mercy Hospice in Johnston. Funeral services will be 12:00 noon Tuesday, September 15th at Hamilton's Southtown Funeral Home, with burial following at Avon Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
William was born February 2, 1953 in Des Moines to William and Carol Romine. He worked as a cab driver for Yellow Cab for 25 years. He loved spending time with his family and his beloved dogs, Rocky and Saddie, and loved Riccelli's spaghetti and meatballs.
William is survived by his wife, Brenda; daughter, Shelly Romine; son, BJ Romine; mother, Carol Farris; brothers, John Romine and Bob (Chris) Romine; sisters, Cindy Romine and Pat Romine; two granddaughters, many other family members and a host of friends. He was preceded in death by his father, William Charles Romine; step-father; Bill Farris; sister, LeAnn Romine and son, Michael Romine.
