I worked with Wayne for 4 years at MIECC (Mid-Iowa Education Computer Company) from 1983-1987. I moved to Muscatine Iowa in 1987 and lost contact with Wayne shortly after.
I enjoyed every minute I was around him. He always had a smile and a positive thought or idea on everything. I remember how he was always busy with something or tinkering on something. He had a charter bus that he seemed to spend a lot of his free time driving and repairing. The computer work I still do today is partly based on my experience with Wayne so many years ago when I was JUST out of college!
I was greatly moved by the obituary listed here and regret that I did not look for him a few years ago. I'm sure that all who ever knew him were greatly blessed. I know I was. I miss him more now knowing that I won't get a chance to visit with him on this side of heaven.
