Tong Mork, age 92, passed away on Wednesday, February 24, 2021 at Mercy Hospital. Tong was born October 12, 1928 in Son La, North Vietnam. Tong started his new life when he came to the United States in 1980.

He loved fishing and socializing with friends and family. Tong enjoyed dancing, especially to Laos music. Tong had many friends during his lifetime and never complained about anything.

He is lovingly survived by his seven children; 25 grandchildren; and 33 great-grandchildren.

Tong was preceded in death by his parents, Pao and Dzao Mork; wife, Tham Mui.

Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m., Friday, March 5, 2021 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, Des Moines. Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, March 6, 2021 also at the funeral home with burial to follow at Glendale Cemetery.
