Kevin Anderson, age 56, was born May 12, 1964, and passed away Thursday, February 18, 2021, at his home in Des Moines.
He is lovingly survived by his father, Timothy Anderson; sister, Sonya Barnard; and nephew, Jerry Lee.
Kevin was preceded in death by his mother, Janet Jenks.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Friday, April 9, 2021 at Hamilton's Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, Des Moines. A graveside service will take place at Laurel Hill Cemetery at 1:30 p.m. on Friday after the visitation.

Sorry to hear the passing of kevin, he was always kind and knew him for many years they our Abate Family. Rest easy and ride high kevin. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family.

Our hearts are still shattered of the loss of you kevin. Its still so unreal. From seeing you everyday to not is hard. We all were so close, even though we weren't blood we were family!! You mean so much to all of us and you will forever be missed. Thank you for all our memories and all the good times we had. You will foever and always be in our hearts. Kevin was a great person we had a lot of fun together. We found each other on Facebook again.. you will truly be miss Kevin my you Rest In Peace.. My heart is broken and sending prayers to his family

Our prayers go out to Kevin's family. Kevin was such a great guy and he will truly be missed. We had a lot of fun together and was looking forward to seeing him this summer. Kevin always made us laugh as we reminisced over old times. He brought us joy. Our hearts are broken. May God give Kevin and his family peace.
