My best friend since childhood. We started kindergarten and graduated together. We have remained friends through the years. I have many wonderful memories of Roberta and her family.

Bert and Fred were very close friends of my parents, when we lived in Des Moines they lived right up the street. Most of my early childhood memories include Bert and Fred and Bradley. Going fishing, riding in the camper, having pizza and pop while our parents played Rook are just a few. Bert had a beautiful smile and an infectious laugh.

So sad to see another classmate go. I was friends with Bert at Lincoln. I can still see Bert,Janice, Sharon, Donna, and many more having such fun in school. Doesn't seem like that long ago.

My friend since kindergarten. Lots of great memories in her childhood home and at Maple Grove and Army Post Elementary. Good discussions in more recent years. Prayers and God's comfort for the family. You're remembered Bert!
