Service Details

E’miya was peacefully called to heaven on February 4, 2021. The princess that she was, was predestined to be an angel at birth, as she gained her angel wings the same day she entered this world.

E’miya is lovingly survived by her mommy and daddy, Zemiya Williams and Damar Burnside; big brother, Mar’kies; grandparents, Dasha Richardson, Maurice Williams, Samantha Fortune, and Jimmy Burnside; great-grandparents, Viola Jamerson and Darlene Fortune; many aunts, uncles, great-aunts, great-uncles, and other loving family members.

She was greeted in heaven by her grandpa, Robert Jamerson.

Although her time on this earth was short – she was loved dearly. Her mom felt her every heartbeat, kick, and wiggle. She was loved dearly and deeply by all those watching her grow.

“I never knew what a mother is till I met you for the first time. I don't know how to take this in from a long shot losing a beautiful daughter like you. You brought me so much joy inside. Losing you is like losing apart me. I'm so heartbroken but I know you watching over me and your dad. We both love you so many words can't explain. Right now me and daddy got you right here and I couldn't go to sleep so I writing this to help me realize that God got something better for you even though I was going to do my best through him but he got a plan for you and me and your daddy. We both love you so much E’miya Princess Richardson Burnside. Always in mommy's and daddy’s heart.”

“When I seen you E’miya I wanted to bring you home you was so beautiful like your mommy. When I saw you I just knew you going be a daddy’s girl. But I never thought something like this will happen to both of us but u will live through daddy and mommy forever. Daddy and mommy will be strong for you because we know God got you in a better place now.”

A private memorial service will be held to celebrate E’miya’s precious life.
