Dale L. Dugger
February 03, 2021
Dale Leonard Dugger, age 73, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, February 3, 2021. The family takes comfort in the fact that he is reunited with his lovely wife, Char, and they can garden together for eternity.
Dale was born March 2, 1947 in Council Bluffs, Iowa. He was a veteran of the United States Navy and took pride in his career in trucking. He loved bowling and was a bowling coach at one point in his life. Dale enjoyed auto racing and loved his early morning breakfasts and trips to the Farmer’s Market. He was always there for anyone in need and was the guy you called if you needed someone to even simply run errands for you. He was a courageous cancer survivor. Above all, his family was the most important thing in the world to him.
He is survived by his son, Chad, his nieces, nephews, and other loving family and friends.
Dale was preceded in death by his wife, Charlene, son, Ronnie, and other extended family.
Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, February 9, 2021 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, Des Moines.

We have been together for so long that we are family. We knew Char and Dale before they were married and saw the boys since they were born. Our kids and Sanders kids grew up together. Our son Kyle and Chad are brothers. We just spent time with Dale when we lost Ronnie. We are sending heartfelt sympathy and prayers. Love to you all
