Chris Dan Anderson passed away on February 2, 2021, after a short battle with cancer. A lifelong ‘EAST SIDER’, Chris was born to the late Virgil and Dorthy Anderson on May 23, 1953. He graduated from East High (1971), Grandview College, and Drake University. Chris was an avid gardener, wildlife feeder, traveler, thrift shop explorer, he loved the Iowa State Fair and Minnesota State Fair.

Chris worked 30 plus years for the USPS at the Bulk Mail Center. He looked forward to the monthly meeting he had with his “postal buddies”. He was a good son, brother, and friend.

He is survived by brothers Larry and Tim.

Services will be held in the spring.

In lieu of flowers, gifts can go to the Iowa State Fair Blue Ribbon Fund.
