Eric Dixon Herndon, age 60, passed away on Monday, November 25, 2019 at Taylor House Hospice. He was born the son of Lucille and William Herndon, Sr. on November 7, 1959 in Des Moines, Iowa.

Eric was a gregarious person with a quick wit. He was a lover of animals and could be an eager dog walker and a cat cuddler.

Those left to cherish his memory include his siblings, David Herndon, William Herndon, Jr., Lucia Horning, Lori Herndon, and Leslie Herndon; nieces and nephews, William Quincey, Melissa, Christopher, Timothy, and Zoe; and several great-nieces and nephews.

Eric was preceded in death by his father; a son, Chauncey Teasley; and brother, Michael Herndon.

A Graveside service was held at Glendale Cemetery.
