Delilia Myers, 71, passed away on January 25, 2021 at MercyOne Medical Center in Des Moines.
Delilia was born June 22, 1949 in Ridgeway, Missouri to Kenneth and Lois E. (King) Oxford.
Delilia is survived by her sister, Marsha (Steve) Rhoten; children, Kenny (Michelle) Oleson, and Shelly (Baron) Byrd; grandchildren, Kamrie Harris, Michale Harris, Mia Harris, Malcomb Byrd, Kerrington Hawkins, Baron Byrd, Jr., Isaac Oleson, and Jonas Oleson; great-grandchildren, Karter Harris, Kylah Onley, Kayda Onley, Landen Walker, Skai Walker; two favorite nieces, Penny Herman (family) and Susan Cole; many great nieces and nephews, many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Michael Myers; and parents, Kenneth and Lois E. (King) Oxford.
The family will greet friends and family on Monday, February 1, 2021 from 2:00pm to 6:00pm at Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home, 5400 SW 9th Street.
In lieu of flowers, please make memorial contributions to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital in her memory as St. Jude’s was one of her favorite charities.

I just saw today on the internet that Delilah passed. Im sorry I did not know that she had been ill. Too many years have passed since I last saw here. I have many happy memories when we were young. My thoughts are with her family.

My thoughts and sympathies to all of you. I worked with Delilia many years ago at Vocational Rehabilitation. She was always so cheerful and nice. May she rest in peace.

So saddened yesterday to hear of Delilia's passing. I had the pleasure of knowing and working with her at Vocational Rehabilitation for many years. She was a wonderful person, very caring and capable, and so dedicated to her family. Peace and comfort wishes to all of her loved ones!
