Scott James Millang died at his home due to natural causes on January 26, 2021 in Des Moines, Iowa.

Scott was born on April 7, 1962 in Ames, Iowa. He always had a huge smile, full of laughter and had a joke. He never met a stranger and was always the first to help. He loved his family dearly. You would often find him fishing, watching NASCAR, or barbecuing and cooking for his family and friends. Scott was a Marine Veteran and a painter by trade.

Scott is survived by his mother Jo Lene Wilhelm, his siblings Dawn (Dave Heldt) Pewick, Michelle Millang, Brian Millang, Denise (Richard) Roberts, Kirk (Melody) Millang, Steve (Jessica) Wilhelm, and Shawn (Katrina) Millang, and many nieces and nephews, and his beloved god-daughter Jennifer Robbe and her daughters Hailey and Hanna; Nichole Boyd and her sons Owen and Carter.

Scott was preceded in death by his dad Jack Wilhelm, and infant brother Kent.

Private family service will be held.
