Benjamin Snyder

Benjamin Snyder, 27, passed away at his home on January 27, 2021. Son of Doug and Laura Snyder, Ben was born in Des Moines, Iowa, on August 30, 1993.

Ben had a passion for guns and weapons. He loved his cat, Mose, watching movies, and listening to music. Ben enjoyed football and hockey, and was an avid fan of the Dallas Cowboys.

His quick wit, generous heart, and kind spirit will be missed by all.

Ben is survived by his parents, Doug and Laura Snyder; brother, Wyatt (Angela) Snyder; sister, Ann (Jordan) Wickre; grandparents, Larry and Lois Hurst, as well as a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Raymond and Bernice Snyder; his beloved cat Mose, and many uncles, aunts, and cousins.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Monday, February 1, 2021, at Hamilton’s Altoona Funeral Home, 105 4th Street SW in Altoona, with visitation to begin at 11:00 a.m. Ben will be laid to rest following the service at Stuart Cemetery in Runnells, Iowa.
